This is a continuation of the post I made last year.
Context and resources are the same so I recommend checking the other post. This one will continue where that one left off and include girls up to Admire Groove being implemented in April 20th, 2026.
By the way, if you only saw the other one on release, I’ve updated a couple of the entries since.
Get it? Got it? Good. Let’s begin.
Ritto Dorms
Gold Ship + Stay Gold

I CALLED IT. I FUCKING CALLED IT LIKE TWO MONTHS IN ADVANCE YOU MOTHERFUCKERS. DOWN TO THE MOTIVATOR THAT STEGO IS OUT OF THE ROOM SO LONG THAT GORUSHI HAS THE ROOM FOR HERSELF MOST OF THE TIME.
This in-game relationship is actually very reminiscent of how things were in real life because after retirement Gold Ship has stayed in the same stall that Stay Gold stayed once upon a time. Not only that but it’s not often that father and son end up in the same stable after retirement, let alone in the same stall.
I did not think about that when I made the call by the way. I just thought it’d be funny, which it is.
Shinkou Windy + Royce And Royce

Turns out the mysterious roommate that Windy is so emotionally dependant on is the unserious girl that loves to make eleven different voices when talking.
These two couldn’t be more similar yet more opposite when they came to careers and life. Royce and Royce never got a victory in a graded race while Shinkou Windy got a few either from disqualifications or dead heats. Likewise, while Shinkou Windy got to the age of 30 and became more famous as a horse that newcomers practiced with, Royce and Royce died young. It’s worth noting also that like with the case of Rickey and Espoir City, Shinkou Windy’s career started after Royce and Royce retired.
Believe + Lucky Lilac

The designated Tsukkomi of their respective groups that spend more time inside their heads than outside of it.
They share a VERY SPECIFIC commonality in that both won G1 races that were held in different racecourses than their usual ones. More specifically, Lucky Lilac won the Queen Elizabeth II Cup when it was held in the Hanshin Racecourse (as opposed to the Kyoto Racecourse) and Believe won the Sprinter Stakes when it was held in Niigata (as opposed to its usual home of the Nakayama Racecourse).
Extra sidenote I feel compelled to bring since she might not get a focus post for a while: Lala’s whole character is about how she wants to look more refined so she hides her Kansai accent (like Tamamo’s) as a Kyoto accent, so the way she wins a Kyoto race when it’s held closer to Osaka is a fun bit (It’s in Takarazuka, AKA Hyogo, but the point remains).
Sounds of Earth + Victoire Pisa

Both want everyone to be in harmony with each other. One just does it through music while the other does it through acts of kindness.
This is the room with both of Neo Universe’s descendants, basically.
Admire Groove + Red Desire

Please stop praying for my cold and emotionally vulnerable girl to welcome love into her heart, she’s being surrounded by way too many people that love her and it’s starting to become a problem.
Both were the rivals of a Triple Tiara contender. Admire Groove being Still In Love’s and Red Desire being Buena Vista’s. Though Red Desire got the Shuuka Sho denying Buena Vista the Triple Tiara entirely.
Kiseki + Marche Lorraine

Turns out being very poor at communication isn’t a problem when your roommate spends most of her time drawing manga anyways and your puppet can speak with her for you.
This one took me a while. If I had to take a guess, it’s probably related to being the first of a specific accolade with their producing farms or owners. Kiseki was the first G1-winning stallion produced by Shimokoube Farm, for example. This guess grows very thin with Marche Lorraine however, as both Northern Farm and Carrot Farm (producer and owner, respectively) have very long and storied records, so Marche Lorraine wasn’t the first one to make an US expedition (that would be Cesario as far as both entities are concerned) but she did win a different race.
As usual, my inbox is open on the contact page if anyone has a better guess.
Unassigned roommates as of right now:
Let’s do something fun and try to think about who each one’s roommate’s might be.
Sakura Bakushin O

Since North Flight got paired up with Machan, I suspect they might pair her with another big name sprinter like Lord Kanaloa. And I mention Lord Kanaloa specifically because when he got his title of strongest sprinter it was such “since Sakura Bakushin O”
Sweep Toushou

Probably Arrow Carry? Regardless of who, I feel like it needs to be a horse deeply connected to Kenichi Ikezoe and that list as far as horses not added to the game is shockingly thin by now.
Daring Tact

My money is on Contrail, since if there’s one thing Daring Tact is known for is the 2020 Japan Cup where a Triple Crown and a Triple Tiara winner faced each other. It’s even a moment teased by the end of Team Ascella’s story.
Samson Big

Honestly, I wonder if she’ll even have a dorm at all. Samson Big was kinda famous for literally going missing after retirement.
Forever Young

The theme will probably be Lifetime Earnings and there’s a few candidates depending on which specific kind of earning we’re talking about.
Epiphaneia

Part of me wants to say she’s another option for a Daring Tact roommate, but I feel like they would’ve revealed that by now if so. The general trend tells me it should be another “third generation within the game” character, but the funny bone tells me it should be Justaway.
Rose Kingdom

If we go by curiosities, probably another horse that’s partially owned by someone that isn’t a registered racehorse owner?
Rulership

Twin Turbo already has a room, as does Non Evil Rulership… they’ll likely lean onto the trend of performance anxiety.
Miho Dorms
Nothing new! Let’s move onto the next chunk.
Unassigned roommates as of right now:
Same guessing game as above.
Symboli Rudolf

I kinda want it to be Deep Impact since a lot of Deep Impact’s narrative is Yutaka Take being able to mirror Yukio Okabe’s hand gestures as he won each Triple Crown race which was a dream of his. It’s either that or Shinzan… or Miho Shinzan if Shinzan is too big of a name to be a regular playable character, kinda like St. Lite.
Sakura Chitose O

Off the top of my head, I wanna say it should be someone else that broke time records.
Gran Alegria

One of Gran Alegria’s claims to fame is winning every single Mile G1 at least once, so perhaps someone with a similar “all G1s of a single category”?
Logotype

The fact that the real Logotype was trained in Miho is the main reason I don’t suggest her as Epiphaneia’s roommate. Probably someone related to Yasuda Kinen? It’d be hilarious if she was Gran Alegria’s roommate on that basis.

The guesses above were made informed by just two things: How much I can recall in general off the top of my head, and an assumption that they would’ve revealed by now if already-announced girls were roommates (basically avoiding the Royce Windy situation where both were in the cast but didn’t get revealed until later).
As usual I expect to be wrong but it’s fun to be wrong because that’s how you learn things and I love learning things.
Regardless, since I’ll definitely tackle the topic again eventually, it’ll be fun to update the guesses based on what I know by then.
